Any room member can log into a web service from Switchboard’s browser app. This member can keep any page open and visible to room members, give shared control (even during video calls), or pause access when they are not in the room—meaning your designs stay “locked down.” Other members can open their own “read only” view if they have an associated account. Occasionally you might be logged out of your apps and asked to log in again, just like on a web browser.
Who has access to the room?
You can set different access levels for your Switchboard workspace and its rooms. Invite your fellow designers and reviewers to your design feedback room as full members so they can see and share designs up for review at any time. You could also offer limited guest access to a room—they’ll only be admitted when someone else is in the room to let them in.
